Fabspeed Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 CUP Billet Aluminum Super High Performance Airbox Cover (1984-1989)

The design of this CARRERA CUP 3.2 liter airbox cover was inspired by factory Porsche Cup Cars. Porsche AG simply CUT AWAY the stock plastic airbox so it was simply a picture FRAME holding the stock paper filter in place . Porsche Motorsport quoted over a +9hp gain on a 964 3.6 liter CUP car  So basically Fabspeed Motorsport replicated this proven design in CNC machined aluminum so the valuable and rare Porsche airbox coverlids DO NOT need to be irreparably butchered. 

Direct bolt-on replacement for the restrictive Porsche 1984 to 1989 3.2L Carrera factory air box cover-lid. The Fabspeed CUP airbox cover-lid 100% guarantees and provides increased airflow and significant DYNO verified power. Made from anodized  champagne gold CNC machined billet T6061 Aluminum. The gold color resembles the factory Gold Cadmium plating / yellow zinc plated OEM hardware that Porsche used in all their air-cooled cars. The factory Carrera airbox cover-lid is designed to muffle and reduce sound and induction note of the 911 Flat-Six engine as much as possible. The Fabspeed billet aluminum 3.2 CARRERA CUP airbox coverlid immediately lets the glorious air cooled flat six engine breathe easily and your 911 3.2 immediately gains glorious air-cooled flat 6 sports car sound while gaining an immediate +7.2HP or more depending on your 3.2s exhaust system configuration. A super highflow rear exhaust can allow +9HP or more.
